Facilities
Located in a large industrial park, our plant has the following characteristics:
- Total area: 19,700 m2
- Covered constructed area: 15,000 m2
- Number of vessels: 8
- Railway system that connects the ships
- Isothermal Metrology Room at 20ºC
- All the warehouses have overhead cranes for handling parts and assemblies, with a total of 10 cranes with capacities ranging from 8 to 50 tons.
Committed to the environment, Renewable Energy Generation
Maquinaria Meyco, committed to sustainable development and following our policy as a company committed to the environment, we have installed in a first phase in 2021 in our facilities a photovoltaic generator of 194 Kwp, with environmental benefits of 110 tons of CO2 avoided, equivalent to 153 trees planted.
In a second phase, in 2022, it was completed with a photovoltaic generator of
36 Kwp, obtaining environmental benefits of 20 T of CO2 avoided, equivalent to 28 trees planted. Installation supported by NextGenerationEU funds under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union.
This allows us to self-consume more than 50% of our electricity needs.
Thanks to this installation, we can generate 9,350 MWh and avoid 2,525 tons of CO2 in the estimated lifetime of the installation.
